About the role
Our customers are factories with 20 to 200 people. They cannot hire a robotics engineer to program each new part. Ferro cells learn from a welder who guides the torch by hand, and the motion planner turns that demonstration into a safe, repeatable path. You will make it better.
What you will do
- Improve path smoothing, collision checking and weld seam tracking in C++ on ROS 2.
- Test on real cells in our Munich workshop every week, not only in simulation.
- Work with firmware and mechanical engineers on sensor and actuator limits.
What you will bring
- Four or more years of C++ in robotics, automotive or another real-time domain.
- Strong maths for kinematics and optimisation.
- Comfort in a workshop. Safety shoes are provided.
Pay and benefits
On-site in Munich-Freimann, five days a week, with flexible hours. 30 days of leave, a Deutschlandticket, and a company pension contribution of 5%.
